Aug 05 to Aug 08, Aug 11 to Aug 15 The Summerland Community Arts Council is now registering for their 2008 Summer Arts Program! Offering a 'Colour It Green' theme that is filled with eight environmentally friendly art programs. Kids of all ages can enjoy and experience many exciting and creative courses that are being offered this year. Some programs include Paper Gone Wild and Gather and Create which both use recycled materials to create unique designs, Heritage Footprints, and Clay Works.

Oct 02 to Oct 12 The annual Okanagan Fall Wine Festival takes place over a 10-day period leading up to the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, early in October. This event has been listed on the American Business Associaton's Top 100 Events in North America for several years. The Festival has over 100 events that take place throughout the Okanagan.

TBA Internationally recognized the regatta includes water, land, and air events for the whole family. The first Kelowna Regatta was held in 1906 on Okanagan Lake. Eventually the event became known as the Kelowna International Regatta. The Lady of the Lake is crowned at the beauty pageant, there's a parade, and of course, the aquatic show.
