Spanning over eight generations, the traditions and practices of the Shales family vineyard produce VQA-designated estate wines and is open for public visits May to October and on weekends during the November and December holiday season.

The Dirty Laundry Vineyard is located in Summerland, overlooking other vineyards and orchards, Trout Creek Canyon and the Kettle Valley Railway Trestle. Wines produced at the vineyard are made 100% from grapes grown on the premises. This winery offers three styles of Gewurztraminer as well as a Riesling, Pinot Gris, Merlot, Cabernet Merlot, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Tours are available.

One of British Columbia's premier wineries, Sumac Ridge Estate Winery is open year-round and offers six tours a day from May to October. Each tour costs $5 per adult with a voucher for $5 off wine purchases. The winery has 47 ha (115 acres) in their Black Sage Vineyard, located in Oliver.

This family operated vineyards and winery makes their wines in the classic “vigneron” style, most commonly used in Burgundy, France, to create hand crafted vintages of Merlot, Pinot Gris, Rosa and Gewurtztraminer with grapes grown in their vineyards located in Summerland atop the Okanagan silt cliffs. Their wines may be sampled at the tasting bar or on the terraza May 1 to October 30 daily and November to April by appointment only.

A small and intimate winery, visitors are welcome at Thornhaven for complimentary wine tastings. Enjoy the view of the surrounding vineyard with a glass of wine along with an assortment of cheese, deli meats and baguettes available for purchase. Or pack a picnic and enjoy the Santa Fe style courtyard in the Okanagan summer sun. Wines made at Thornhaven include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewurztraminer. Open daily from May 1 to mid October.

Warm and friendly family winery, with a newly designed wine-shop. The panoramic views of the blue Okanagan Lake and the spectacular Giant's Head Mountain are the ideal setting for raising a glass of wine and relaxing. Open daily 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM (May - October).
